CAMP WENONAH

YOUR ADVENTURE AWAITS!

A summer at Camp Wenonah is a meaningful experience full of lasting memories and friendships, learning new skills, and developing character. Few environments are as special as camp, where participants form a community. Camp teaches self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors, and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership. Day Camp runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with the option to add wrap around care in both the morning and afternoon.

All participants will need to bring their own lunch, snacks, water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray each day.

Ages

Happy Campers Pre School Program: Ages 3-6 (must be potty trained)

Day Camp: Ages 6-12

Counselor In Training (CIT) Program: Ages 13-16

Option Pricing and Registration

Camp Wenonah has "option pricing" to ensure that families can find a place for Camp in their budget AND support our increased cost to operate. Please consider selecting the highest tier that your family can afford. All campers receive the same experience, no matter what they pay. Click the options below to be taken to the Registration page.

Option 1-$250: actual cost of operating camp, including wear and tear on equipment and depreciation.

Option 2-$200: our historically standard rate, which is partially subsidized.

Option 3-$150: subsidized even greater through the generosity of our donors.

Wrap Around Care

Day Camp runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For families who need additional care before or after camp, wraparound care is available. Morning wraparound care begins at 7:00 AM, and afternoon wraparound care runs until 5:00 PM.

There is an additional cost of $10 per week for morning or afternoon wraparound care, or $20 per week for both morning and afternoon care.

Transportation from Winona Family YMCA to Camp Wenonah

Bus transportation to Camp from the Winona Family YMCA and back will be used the following weeks:

Day Camp Week 1: June 8-12
Day Camp Week 3: July 6-10
Day Camp Week 8: August 10 -14

**Camp start and end times remain the same.

During these weeks, campers are expected to ride the bus to and from camp. Individual drop-off or pick-up at camp is only permitted if a camper will be arriving late or leaving early, and arrangements have been made in advance with the Camps Director.

Overnight Campout Option

Back by popular demand is the single overnight campout on Thursdays after Family Night.  Campers 8 years and older will have the option to participate in the overnight campout, where we will have a campfire dinner, sing songs, and play evening games.  Campers participating in the campout will need to provide their own sleeping bag, pillow, and toothbrush; tents will be provided.

*The campout is weather and registration-dependent.
