Family Adventure Camp to the North Shore: October 15-18
4 Days, 3 Nights
Join us for a one-of-a-kind fall getaway along Minnesota's North Shore, where families can unplug, explore, and experience the outdoors together. The price of this trip includes food, bus transportation, gear, equipment, programming, and certified staff.
This 4-day, 3-night adventure is designed for families of all experience levels, whether you're brand new to camping or just looking for a fun, guided outdoor experience.
We will spend our time exploring the beauty of the North Shore and surrounding forest areas through a mix of relaxed adventure and hands-on learning:
Guided hikes featuring fall colors and scenic overlooks
Campfire cooking and outdoor meal experiences
Intro to camping skills (tent setup, staying warm, outdoor basics)
Nature-based activities and environmental learning
Costs: $100 non-refundable deposit due at registration and applied to final balance.
Non-member: $500
Member: $450
Family Engineering Day: September 26th, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Bring the family for an evening of hands-on creativity, problem-solving, and fun at our Family Engineering Day in partnership with The Works Museum. Explore engineering concepts through exciting activities designed for kids and adults to build, experiment, and learn together. Participants can try a variety of engineering challenges.
Build and launch your own mini catapult, test your teamwork in the Pop Fly Team Challenge, and experiment with electricity-based activities like designing circuits and creating switches. All materials and activities are provided, and volunteers from The Works Museum will help guide families through the challenges. Come ready to build, test ideas, and discover how engineering shapes the world around us.
2nd Annual Camp Wenonah Family Fall Fest: Sunday, October 11th
Celebrate the season with fun for the whole family as you enjoy the beautiful fall scenery of Camp Wenonah. Families can carve pumpkins, play games (like gaga ball), create crafts, explore the hiking trails, fly on the zipline, and conquer the low ropes course. Finish the day with a gooey s'mores treat around the campfire. Registration costs only apply to kids under 18. Take advantage of our early bird registration. All activities are included in the cost.
Now- September 30th: $10 a child
October 1st- 11th: $15 a child
